To our knowledge this is the first described case of robotic excision of a retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma. CASE A 41-year-old female had an incidental retroperitoneal mass found during a routine US. متن کاملLaparoscopic excision of simple giant retroperitoneal pseudocyst: case report
Primary retroperitoneal pseudocysts are rare entities. Though laparoscopic approach has been described in their treatment, open surgical excision is still the mainstay of treatment for these lesions. We present a case of giant retroperitoneal pseudocyst and its successful laparoscopic excision. The patient was a 27-year old female. Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen and ultrasonography co...
متن کاملA case of retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma.
We describe a rare case of a primary retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma that was found accidentally during preoperative examinations conducted due to a suspicion of ovarian cancer. Computerized tomography was not able to differentiate the retroperitoneal mass from an adrenal tumor. We diagnosed the retroperitoneal tumor by means of selective adrenal angiography.
